Istanbul late night foods and where to find them

Following a boozy night out, Istanbul offers a wide variety of after-hours eating options. Garlicky işkembe (tripe) soup is a popular late-night meal, as many believe that it is sure to fight off a morning-after hangover. Such soup restaurants are usually open 24 hours and also serve other dishes. Other after-hours meals include mantı (dumplings in a garlic yogurt sauce) as well as döner kebabs, kokoreç, hamburgers, and toasted sandwiches from local büfe (fast-food restaurants).
