Its eight locations on university campuses also render Homer a significant supporting institution for Turkish academia. A boon to the thrifty shopper, Homer Bookstore sells imported books at the cover price, sidestepping the tax mark-ups that often plague foreign price tags. The recent launch of Homer kids, a section dedicated to young children, reinforces Homer’s reputation as a bookseller with a concern for social issues and education.
