Lokal is a small, but buzzing restaurant, café, and bar all in one, located in Tünel. Walk past it and you might not even see it, but it is really worth coming in, whether for a meal, a snack, or a drink. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Lokal serves up a huge range of international dishes. The menu has salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, meat, and vegetable dishes with both European and Asian influences, perfectly encapsulating Lokal’s motto: ‘Think Global, Eat Lokal’. The vibe is casual but hip, and the jugs of cocktails are delicious (and with over 10 varieties on offer, you can definitely find one to accompany your meal perfectly). From Tuesdays to Saturdays, when the dinner crowd disperses after 11pm, Lokal hosts well-known Turkish and international DJs, playing a selection of music genres.
