Bodrum is known for being one of Turkey’s most popular holiday destinations, flocked by local as well as international tourists, attracting crowds with its natural beauty, great dining scene, and famous nightlife scene.
There have been many new additions to Bodrum in the past year (see our detailed article about Bodrum here), and one of the newest additions is MejorCosta, which opened its doors this July. Located in Küdür Koyu in Yalıkavak, MejorCosta is a boutique hotel that appears more like a resort, spread over a large area of land, full with a big pool area, dining area, and private beach.
The hotel features a total of 31 rooms, 23 of which are terrace suits offering sea views while the remaining 8 are deluxe rooms with garden views. All rooms feature a very modern décor, which heavily rely on soft hues of blue, white, and beige. In addition to standard amenities, like minibar and WiFi, the rooms also feature LCD TVs. The suite rooms are quite large, with a lounge area that is equipped with a couch, writing desk, and coffee table. The walls of the rooms are adorned with photographs, while the walls of the hotel feature paintings by a local artist. The on-site restaurant offers open-buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. The spa treatments include Turkish bath, sauna, and several massage therapies, like anti-stress and aromatherapy.
MejorCosta serves as an ideal option for those wanting to have a relaxing holiday in Bodrum, with the option of turning things around. During the day, you can enjoy the sun and the sea, with mostly lounge music playing in the background. The laid-back atmosphere is augmented by the size of the land that the hotel sits on; the beach doesn’t feel too crowded even when the hotel is near full capacity. In the evening, those who want to spice things up a little can take advantage of the hotel’s proximity to Palmarina Yalıkavak marina and Billionaire Club.
If you’re looking for quality and a piece of mind in Bodrum, MejorCosta would serve as an ideal accommodation option. The hotel will close at the end of October to re-open in March; it will, however, be open by request for private events like weddings throughout the winter.
