Indigo: Home of the Best International DJs

Feride Yalav / November 01, 2012

If you take some time to sit down and examine the lineup of DJs that will grace the Indigo stage this month, you will be as grateful as us for its reopening. Talented masters of the turntable from Europe and America will release the deep bass of their vibrating creations to a space that houses two bars and an outside smoking area that has one of the best bird's eye views of the tumultous Tom Tom Mahallesi human traffic flow. Make your way there, and make sure to be a bit early cause it will get crowded.

Let's take a look at who's coming:

Aeroplane, November 3rd

Having made remixes for such names as Cut Copy, Frienly Fires, Bloc Party, and MGMT, Aeroplane will bring his unique 80s, disco, and house inspired sound to the Indigo stage.

Stacey Pullen, November 10th

Raised in Detroit where his interest for electronic music caused him to enter the techno scene, Stacey Pullen has since used many aliases in his unique mix of house, garage, and techno, which became influential to later electonic artists.

Amirali, November 16th

The young Iranian and Canadian musician Amirali has won a lot of admiration from the international techno and house scene for a unique sound that has been described as mysterious and the 'avant garde concoction of electronica.' See and feel what that means live on stage.

Noze, November 17th

You won't find too many details about Noze if you look for them, but what you will find is a giant array of mixes that will blow your mind. See the French duo live on stage, which is always so much better than listening to it off Myspace.

Solomun, November 23rd

Another name from Hamburg, Germany that has caused a rumble in the electronic music scene, Mlladen Solomun not only runs his own record company producing young talent, but also displays his own upon dancing crowds all over the world.

Extrawelt, November 24th

With an upcoming album entitled 'Die Welt Ist Nicht Genug' (The World is Not Enough), German DJ duo  Extrawelt will appropriately expand their musical horizons with a performance in the house of the rising Istanbul electronic scene, the Indigo stage.
