Athier Mousawi at Poligon 'Shooting Gallery'

The second venue of the Empire Project, the Poligon “Shooting Gallery” is both an atelier as well as exhibition space that hosts local and international artists. On October 4th the work of British-Iraqi artist Athier Mousawi will be on display.
The artist, who specializes in silk-screen prints and is passionate about bringing the world of art to the general public, will be exhibitied until the 20th. Due to his dual heritage, Mousawi focuses artistically on the nostalgia of pre-revolutionary Iraq, as well as exploring themes like broken memory by utilizing Arabic calligraphy and surreal shapes and forms.
