Mano Burger: Favorite Burger Joint in Asmalımescit

Talya Arditi / September 10, 2012

The burger trend has taken Istanbul by storm in the past few years, and many burger joints opened up all around the city (See our comprehensive Burger article here). Mano Burger, which first opened in Tünel, now has locations in Asmalımescit and Caddebostan, offering a diner-like experience to serious burger lovers.

Mano Burger is a typical, laid-back burger joint, offering a menu of juicy burgers slapped between soft, pita-like bread and delicious fries (spicy or plain), all served very casually wrapped in paper. All burgers come with a special Mano sauce, a mayonnaise-based sauce that is varied for each burger. Greens, tomatoes, caramelized onions, pickles, and Mano sauce are the common ingredients found in all burgers, and it’s the little additions that make all the difference.

Two of their most sought-after burgers are the Ottoman Burger (filled with greens, tomatoes, halloumi cheese, caramelized onions, eggplant puree, pickles, and Mano sauce) and the Mano Burger (filled with greens, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, and Mano sauce). The menu also includes a classic Fish Burger and Chicken Burger, as well as three other burgers prepared with the usual Mano ingredients and different cheeses.

Rumor has it Mano has plans of including a vegetarian burger on the menu and opening several new branches. So keep an eye out for upcoming Mano news. Asmalımescit Mah. Asmalımescit Sokak No.7, Asmalımescit; P: (0212) 292 75 42
