The Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival will be held this year from June 14 to September 14. This festival is held annually in the Aspendos Amphitheatre in Antalya, which is nearly 2,000 years old and considered one of the best-preserved theaters in the world. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the amphitheatre benefits from a dramatic setting, excellent acoustics, and 20,000-person seating capacity.

Established in 1994, this festival is organized by the Turkish Culture Ministry’s State Opera and Ballet Directorate, and has been growing in popularity and prestige every year. Each year, prominent Turkish and international companies participate, including Istanbul’s State Opera and Ballet Company and Antalya’s State Opera and Ballet Company. This year’s program features İzmir State Opera and Ballet, Estonian National Opera, South Korea - Daegu Opera, China - Beljing Opera, and more.
