Yapı Kredi Culture and Art Center
Established by one of the first nationwide commercial banks in Turkey, Yapı Kredi Culture and Art Center offers many public events in its historical and prime space on Istiklal Street, which faces the Galatasaray Square. After having been closed for renovations for more than five years, this cultural center reopened in September 2017, its contemporary geometric glass building eager to host hundreds of events once again in its new space. A unique aesthetic feature of this building is that passersby can view artwork from the outside through the glass walls facing the main street.
Art exhibitions, musical performances, film screenings, theater productions, and seminars and workshops are just a few of the programs they will put on. Its new performance venue, Loca, is the prime location for these programs. This cultural center’s new bookstore is also a prominent feature of its new space.
Visiting hours for the art gallery are Monday-Friday from 10am-7pm, Saturday from 10am-6pm, and Sunday from noon-6pm. Concerts take place throughout the week at various times of day, and tickets can be purchased on Biletix.
Visitors from all over the world with interests in many fields can find an event or program that they will delight in at Yapı Kredi Culture and Art Center.
