This show at the Pera Museum, consisting of late 19th century and early 20th century photos of the Asian shore of the Bosphorus, provides a nostalgic look at an Istanbul of a now-bygone era, before the city’s late 20th century population explosion and all the resulting changes in its infrastructure. The show includes photos by Ali Sami Aközer, Félice Beato, Guillaume Berggren, Abdullah Biraderler, Gülmez Biraderler, Ernest Edouard de Caranza, Sebah & Joaillier, Maurice Meys, Ali Enis Oza, James Robertson, and Elisa Pante Zonaro.
