This installation at Karaköy’s Antrepo 3 (one of the venues that hosted last year’s 12th Istanbul Biennial) will forever change the way you view the iconic works of Vincent Van Gogh. At Van Gogh Alive, over 3,000 images by the Dutch postimpressionist master are projected onto giant screens (as well as the floor and ceiling of the exhibition space) with accompanying music by classical composers like Handel, Lalo, Barber, Nielsen, Saint-Saens, and Arvo Pärt. Van Gogh Alive is designed by Grande Exhibitions Australia, with the participation of Turkish pharmaceutical company Abdi İbrahim, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
