To what extent does a still image reflect reality? Does such a brief temporal cross-section distort or enhance our understanding of a universe in constant flux? The mixed-media works in Sümer Sayın’s Bir An İçin at Akaretler’s artON address these and other questions, exploring the precariousness and uncertainty that can occur in the brief space of time that we call a “moment.”
For a Moment is Sayın’s first solo show in Turkey.
