The Turkish title of this exhibition of black-and-white photos by Özcan Ağaoğlu could be translated Lookatiran. Consisting of selections from Ağaoğlu’s book of the same name (a labor involving four years of shooting from 2006 to 2009), İranabak takes the reader to over a dozen different cities in this 2500-year-old nation. İranabak presents scenes of everyday Iranian life; its dramatic once-a-year Ashura ceremonies; its scourge of drug addiction; and the violence surrounding the 2009 election of President Ahmadinejad.

Ağaoğlu will be present for a book signing at the opening of the exhibition on the 20th.
