The works of artist Gürbüz Doğan Ekşioğlu have graced the covers of the New Yorker no fewer than seven times, and have also appeared on the pages of the New York Times, Forbes Magazine, and other well-known publications. Ekşioğlu’s magical, playfully surrealistic world is one in which cherries can rain from the sky, a coastline becomes a human face in profile, and a boy crosses a canyon on the tightrope of a balloon string. Come see his artwork up close for yourself at this show entitled Kağıt Üzerinde Gezinti (Excursion on Paper) at Teşvikiye’s Füsun İnan Art Gallery.
