How to throw a dinner party at home without cooking

There are special occasions at home, and there are special occasions that need extra pomp and circumstance. If one desires some extra culinary zazz (or if you’d like to stay out of the kitchen), it’s worthwhile giving Eataly a call. The expert chefs there know how to throw a good party, and are experienced in whipping up elegant, flavorful dishes sure to please a hungry crowd. A team works with you to create a personalized menu set to your tastes. They arrive at your home (or venue) with most dishes needing only a bit of assembly, heating or a final flourish. It is food that is served fresh, hot and absolutely delicious.

We threw a small surprise event to celebrate the birthday of a colleague, and opted for casual, homestyle food that would make a grandmother proud. In addition to homemade breads, there was bresaola draped over peppery arugula and drizzled with a balsamic reduction, cherry tomatoes bursting with flavor and a healthy spinach and tomato salad. From the oven came hearty meatballs swimming in tomato sauce and a gorgeous bubbling lasagna that drew us into its rich, comforting goodness with every bite. There was even personalized, updated takes on tiramisu, that soon had the guests silent as they dug into dessert. We used our own plates and bowls from The Guide Shop to give the table even more gorgeous flair. The perfect way to celebrate a special event.
