A global troupe of acrobats, contortionists and daredevils, Cirque du Soleil is synonymous with high-art manipulations of the body and space. In Alegria, these stunning performers will straddle Istanbul’s two continents for a heart-stopping, multi-venue extravaganza. Presented by Finansbank, Alegria bears all the hallmarks of a Ciruqe show: ethereal costumes, hand-wringing stunts, and feats of athleticism are all set to a score of world music. A truly international endeavor, this cast of fifty-five performers hails from fifteen different countries. Cirque du Soleil will push the limits of the imagination in this trapeze-swinging, high wire balancing, body-bending extravaganza.
